As the six teams of the Great Lakes Science Center's Robotics Initiative prepare for competition, we thought we would repost an article that appeared last month in the official FIRST Robotics Competition Blog. The article, that was written by Collin Fultz, is titled "Getting Ready for Your First Event," and contains important information for our two new teams, and for our veteran teams with new student and adult members. It also includes a link to a great video called "What to Expect at a FIRST Robotics Competition Event" that can, and should, be shared with the entire team and their parents/caregivers.
