
The 2026 New York Tech Valley Regional
Thu 4/16, Fri 4/17, and Sat 4/18
The FIRST® Robotics Competition's New York Tech Valley Regional is the final event for the 2026 regular-season, and will last opportunity for competing high school robotics teams to quaify for the FIRST® world Championship! This year's tournament will feature 50 of the top high school robotics teams from New York and Ohio, as well as the nations of Canada, the United Mexican States, and the Republic of Türkiye!

This season's New York Tech Valley is expected to draw over 1,500 high school students and their cheering fans to Albany's MVP Arena for the three-day event, including Team #8222 (The Argonauts from Davis Aerospace and Maritime High School) from the Great Lakes Science Center's Robotics Initiative.

In REBUILT™ presented by Haas, FIRST Robotics Competition teams will use their engineering skills to uncover the future by re-imagining the past!
Spectators Welcome!
Be sure to catch all the excitement of this intense competition that showcases industrial-sized mobile robots developed and operated by teams of high school students. Spectators can tour the "pits" to meet the teams and get a closer look at their robots! Later, you'll have an excellent view of the competition field as you cheer on your favorite teams from the comfortable stadium seating found throughout the arena!
