25th Annual Buckeye Regional

Thu 3/21, Fri 3/22, and Sat 3/23

 

The FIRST® Robotics Competition's Buckeye Regional is Ohio’s oldest and most prestigious robotics tournament. It's a high-energy, high-tech, international sporting event where teams of students, mentored by adult professionals, work together to solve an engineering design problem. 

 

This year's Buckeye Regional will feature 55 of the top high school robotics teams from seven states and the People's Republic of China!

 

When: 

March 21, 2024 - March 23, 2024

Where:

Cleveland, State University Wolstein Center

2000 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115

 

The event is expected to draw over 1,500 high school students and their cheering fans to the Greater Cleveland area. All six teams of the Great Lakes Science Center's Robotics Initiative will be competing at this event, measuring the effectiveness of their innovations and testing the power of collaboration!

Spectators Welcome! 

Be sure to catch all the excitement of this intense competition showcasing robots developed and operated by teams of high school students from across the region. Spectators can tour the "pits" to meet the teams and get a closer look at their robots! Later, you'll have an excellent view of the competition field as you cheer on your favorite teams from the comfortable seating throughout the arena!
