Med Access International 2026 Summer
Humanitarian Medical Mission
Student members from any of the high school robotics teams sponsored by the Great Lakes Science Center, who are also interested in supporting "Hands Across Borders," the global community service project started by members of the Argonauts (FRC Team #8222) and adopted by the other founding members of the science center's Robotics Initiative, are invited to apply to participate in a ten (10) day, all-expenses-paid humanitarian medical mission to Latacunga, a plateau city located in the Republic of Ecuador.
This summer's humanitarian medical mission has been organized by Med Access International, a non-profit volunteer aide organization that runs humanitarian medical missions to impoverished communities in Asia, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Selected students and mentors will be joining seventy-five of the top doctors, nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, who have volunteered to provide free medical care missions abroad for people living in some of the most impoverished communities around the world..
